Ok. I managed to skim a few other articles.
All I'm seeing, fucking literally all I'm seeing, is this: "Police taze [kid/retard/old woman] while onlookers cry "Don't taste [him/her] bro!" Tazed person/tazed person's estate is suing police." No witnesses interviewed. No evidence brought forward. Nothing. Someone queue up the ancient aliens guy saying something clever.

Found more about the tazed granny. I can't be bothered to buy the official court documents, but I found the 911 call on youtube. Contrary to the over-the-top articles that say that 911 was called so the grandma could get medical assisstance and that say the grandson claimed "at least a dozen" armed cops showed up at the house, the 911 call has the grandson saying that his grandma was suicidal, that she was taking medicine that he was concerned would kill her.
The police report goes on to say that the lady pulled a knife from under her pillow and threatened to attack a cop with it, and only after that did the dumb bitch get tazed. Yes, the police can lie. But it is FUCKING OBVIOUS that the sensationalist propoganda bullshit media who are covering this story are ACTUALLY CAUGHT RED HANDED LYING about EVERYTHING that happened... and you guys who talk about me being a "sheep" are all fired up over something that never even happened that you never even bothered to look into. Fucking. Hippies.

Look, there's certainly no evidence that the pilgrims didn't taze the Indians. We can only conclude that Thanksgiving was a peace treaty to end the 17th century tazer war.

If you're linking Russia Today, Infowars and DailyMail as a credible source of information, no one should take you seriously.

First off - sad thing about the kid dying. Secondly lol @ all the people arguing. Thirdly - Australia has a law about equal force being used to subdue a person. Equal force wasn't used here, cops were in the wrong. Yeah the kid was stupid and yeah his friends bailed on him and yeah he should've been detained/arrested/whatever - but there's no need to taze him. Time for cops to grow some balls and use their hands instead of reaching for a weapon.

How's this for commentary on the 10-year-old who got tased, though? The article says the officer was told by the kids' mom that it was ok to tase if necessary, the kid kicked the officer in the balls, and only then did she get tased. The department, chief, and officer made at least one solid point in favor of tasing: attempting to pin down and restrain the kid while she was violently resisting (did I mention that the kids dad admitted she has emotional problems too?) could easily cause as much harm as a taser is likely to cause. My favorite part of that article though was the girl's dad calling out the officer, telling him he wasn't much of a man if he couldn't manhandle a 10-year-old into cuffs and the back of the squad car. But he was doing this while at the same time he doesn't even have custody of the kid, meaning he probably is a crappier parent than the mom is, and the mom already is so hopeless when it comes to the kid that she has to call the cops when the girl is "kicking and screaming." What does that say about the manliness of the fucking dad? Lol. Did you even read any of these articles yourself, or did you just assume that the headlines that are specifically designed to get people all hot and bothered even if there is nothing worth being worked up about told the whole story by themselves?
