Lethdar I too once lost hope. But its actually a good box, perma ban policy is keeping 'play better' status locked down to be honest.

Everyone cleaning up their whistles for Red99 -- its now a show down can you hang on a real emu box?

The Cool Kids send you a soft kaw. Put the past behind bro, not mad, not bad ready for the final culmination of Classic PVP in what has proven to be a truly worthwhile battle ground.

Like dacuk said we will see how things play out now, now that everyone knows our stance on training officially or whatever. if any of our members intentionally train on any toon, even if hes not tagged, while we are guild pvping we will disband them, fucking shit ruins the server for everyone who is playing and is thinking about playing. You cant accomplish anything if you have assholes just training everytime they lose an engagement or are trying to contest a mob illegally. I for one put alot of time into this server and would like it to prosper and I dont see it happening if people feel that contesting a raid mob is just going to lead to train fest for 5 hours. Thats just a waste of time.

The Founding Fathers follows a few simple rules. Any Father that break these rules will be reprimanded. To get a deeper view and understanding about The Founding Fathers please follow the links at the bottom of the page.

The rules made simple!
  1. Fathers will not PK any lights (unless attacked first, if a member of an enemy guild, or if helping an an allied guild)
  2. Fathers will not corpse camp
  3. Fathers will not bind rush
  4. Fathers will LNS from a given zone if PKed, unless other agreement is obtained with the victor(s) of the battle
  5. Fathers will not group or team with any race that is not a light race. We do not group with Dark Elves, Trolls, Ogres or Iksar.
  6. Fathers will not group or team with our enemies (ex: PK guilds)

Fatherly Conduct
This is to inform new recruits and any others interested in what it means to be a Founding Father and what our Norrathian views are and how a Father is expected to act in given situations. We are a confederacy of like-minded men of Norrath that believe in personal choice, freedom, and justice. We believe that these goals are best met through our dedication to honor, trust, and loyalty. We hold these values dear and will always apply them to dealings with each other. We will apply them to our allies and friends in all dealings with them, just as if they were fathers. Finally we apply them to the innocent citizens of this reflection of Norrath known as Project 1999 Red (Classic, PvP) when ever we can.
  • Choice: As a Father you have the final choice. You can chose to live by these values in our guild or you can follow any other path that you desire outside our guild.
  • Freedom: As a Father you are expected to aid your Fathers whenever possible, at all times. You are expected to aid our allies whenever you can. You are free to make choices, just be prepared to live with your choices.
  • Justice: As a Father you are expected to not kill without just cause. This means that we do not hunt down people of Light races. We defend ourselves and all others from known groups of killers when ever we can.
  • Honor: Founding Fathers is an honorable guild. Founding Fathers will never lie, cheat, steal, or behave dishonorably. Even if a Father is not treated honorably we will still always deal honorably.
  • Trust: A Father can and will always be trusted. A Father will always live up to his word.
  • Loyalty: A Father will always be loyal to each other and our allies.

PvP
  1. Fathers do not attack Light races (all races except Iksar, Ogre, Troll, Dark Elf) as a general rule. There are exceptions and they will be outlined in detail.
  2. Fathers will defend our selves, our Fathers, and our allies in that order from any that attack us first.
  3. As a Father you have the choice to kill or not to kill. That is the question. You do suffer faction loss from killing in certain areas and it is your choose to swing the killing blow or not. As a Father you will still always fight in defense of your Fathers and your allies. You can drive off the attackers or weaken them sufficiently; and then others that chose to can land the killing blow.
  4. As a Father we can attack any that are from a known PKing (Player Killing) guild just as if they were Darkies. These guilds will be listed as KOS (Kill On Sight) in our friends and enemies area on the web page.
  5. Personal vendettas (long term repeated attacks) against any light races are frowned upon. They often cause tension with our allies that we do not desire. As a Father if you have a personal vendetta against any one it is your responsibility to resolve it without guild aid. If your enemy gets help then you will have to ask for help outside of the guild. If this vendetta is against a member of an allied guild it is your responsibility to inform his guild that it is personal and that they should not aid him. This assumes that both of you have decided to carry this vendetta, if your opponent does not want to and his guild requests that you stop you will have to negotiate a resolution acceptable to all parties or you will have to choose between the vendetta and our guild. This applies the same if you want it ended and your opponent still attacks you. We will use our guild strength to force a resolution or the other guild will need to choose between this individual and our friendship.
  6. All Rogeans rules will be followed by Founding Fathers. These are enforced by Amelinda and many of them are enforced by banning (your account is closed losing all your characters and items forever). As an honorable guild, Founding Fathers will not tolerate these activities from our Fathers.
  7. We do encourage the use of LnS (Loot and Scoot): This is where the winner of a PvP battle will allow the loser to get his items and leave the zone or area for a period of time. The area can be negotiated, and can not be greater than the zone. An acceptable time is one hour. As a Father you will Always offer LnS, you can specify the area and you can specify the time up to one hour. If the opponent refuses to LnS then he is fair game. If any Father refuses to LnS then you suffer the consequences of your actions. Win or lose the fight a Father will always be polite: No spamming, no bad mouthing, and no whining to our guild, the opponents guild, or in shouts. If you are jumped by 6 Undying (now Brotherhood) and killed in the Karanas you can ooc: "Pack of six Brotherhood scum pack hunting near bridge able to hit a 35 th warrior. " You are not to ooc: "Stupid homo fag boys from Brotherhood killed me" You can use some appropriate phrases to convey your anger in character, but you are not to get abusive or repetitive.
  8. No Father has the right to threaten with guild retaliation. You can and should call for guild aid, but only our Matron can threaten with a guild war. In a contested camp or KS situation: A Father is expected to be polite and share a camp if feasible. If the camp is being stolen and the opponents are not being fair, you are to tell them that they are not being fair and why you think so. Then if they continue to misbehave you are allowed to tell them you intend to fight them for the camp. You may fight them for the camp when all attempts at peaceful negations fail. You do not need to duel individually, it can be your camp group against the opposing camp group. Win or lose follow LS guidelines. Always tell the losers and all that witnessed the fight what happened and why.
  9. Abusive and rude individuals: They are out there, some just want to ruin your day by being bad mouthed jerks. It is best to ignore them, next best to tell them to stop and apologize, next best is to fight them. Again explore all options for peace first, if a fight is necessary tell them why you fight and abide by all our honorable guidelines. Win or lose be polite, abide by LnS and do not whine. Now I am not saying that we as Fathers can not group up six strong and go hunting Darkies or PKing Lights. I say fight honorably by telling your opponents why you fight and always be polite. By all means if you find a single Brotherhood wiz medding feel free to jump him and kill him as fast as they would if the situation was reversed. Only be sure he knew you were there ahead of time and intend to fight, and you and your group behaved honorably and polite at all times.

No Aid Policy
Founding Fathers have a no aid policy as follows. I and many others personally believe that the best way to stop bad behavior is to not deal with misbehaving individuals, show them that they can not gain by misbehaving as easily as they can by behaving properly. No Father will aid any known member of a PK guild, or individuals listed as enemies. This means no buffing, no healling, no selling or buying items from them, and any other form of aid or comfort will be denied.
  1. As a Father you can help a Darkie find his body or how to get out of the zone after a role play raid, if he is polite and you feel he needs help. You can help them abide by LnS guidelines and in all situations except aiding them get experience or gaining any advantage.
  2. You can be in a group with a player pretending to be a Darkie if it is a tough camp to get into and a Father is not leading the group. In this case as a Father you should not buff or heal the player that looks like a Darkie until he stops looking like one. Tell him it is guild policy and that you can not aid him directly as long as he is pretending to be a Darkie, offer to leave the group if necessary. We cannot group with any "actual" darkies. There are whiners and they will whine, just stick to our principles and they will shut up or the group will boot them for being a pain in the ass.
  3. Marriages to a known PKer or member of a PK guild is not acceptable to our guild. He can leave the offending guild and be redeemed by your love or you will have to follow him into the life of a PKer. Again you have free choice, and know the cost of your choices.

Recruitment Policy
Our recruitment policy is simple and outlined below.
  1. As a possible recruit you must be a player of Norrath and be a playable race.
  2. As a possible recruit you must have been to our web page, you must have read these policies and show you understand them.
  3. As a recruit you need to be interviewed by an Officer. You need to demonstrate your understanding of our policies and show that you are willing to be a good member of our Fatherhood.

Explanations
  1. No CCing (Corpse Camping): You must not wait at a fallen enemies corpse and kill him again before he has the opportunity to loot his items. It is best if you let him loot then either move away or attack you again first. If he does not do anything after he has looted his body for a minute then he is fair game again. It is important that you give the opportunity for him to loot and scoot.
  2. No BCing (Bind point Camping): Same as CCing, except it is not legal to kill people at their bind point before they have opportunity to loot their body.
  3. No BRing (Bind Rushing): This is where you return to your bind point and rush back into a fight with the same opponent over and over wearing him down and eventually killing him because you used multiple lives to unfairly kill him.
  4. No KSing (Kill Stealing): This is the intentional taking a mob (no player/monster) away from a person who is already fighting it to steal his experience. A Father is expected to be polite and share camps when ever feasible. On a PvP server kill stealing and camp (monster spawn area) stealing are to be resolved in a PvP manner. If it is necessary to fight for your right to a camp you may do so if you have attempted all other options first. Abide by all rules in this fight, fight honorably and if you lose leave the camp as per LnS below.
  5. No experience Killing: This is when you cause a player to die by a mob and lose experience. You can not attack anyone fighting a mob, you can not weaken a player then let a mob kill him, you can not heal or buff the mob against a player, and you can not intentionally train mobs onto anyone.
  6. No harassment: As a Father it is not our policy to harass any one. There should never be any comments or actions taken out of character. We do not encourage any bad mouthing, flaming, spamming or other forms of harassment. I take this to include repeatedly killing some one that you have just killed.
