12v12 GM Event Amelinda Hai

In an effort to bring about some excitment to this server, I now turn to my enemy Amelinda. Thread after thread offers suggestions to the developers but little to no response really brings me down. So I was thinking of ways to improve the server that doesn't center around Rogean closing out Star Wars.

So Amelinda, if Holo and Nilly were to agree with a 12v12 GM sanctioned Arena battle, would you host it and seal the Arena door? Only participants allowed in, you, and possibly one more from each side to FRAPs the event. Unless you could somehow keep the observers from interfering. 12 is a good number, 2 full parties, and even with this low population it is not asking too much. If FF can pull 12 guys togethers then hell make it 12v12v12.

Would be good for server no matter who wins. Kinda of like the Nirgon vs Supreme loser deletes toon match. Shit had me hyped. Bad idea? Am I fat and mad? I dunno what you guys think?

I voted other because this is a waste of developers time and only includes the top players while disregarding any new players. I would prefer to have the staff working to resolve other issues with the server such as the resistance system, cheating of all sorts, I'd even prefer they just spent their time reading player concerns about the server on the forum for some perspective.

This is directed towards Amelinda, not developers, if you had a brain or read the thread you would have known this. She polices the server and does other CSR work. She does not deal with the resistance system. Also this event would not even be all that time consuming. Summon players to arena, close door, fight. If everyone is online ready to go. This thing would take less than half an hour from setup to good game.

I think you should redirect that comment at yourself. Amelinda polices the cheaters which is a better use of her time than playing "favorite pvp champ troll master" with a couple of top guilds while everyone else that benefits from the limited amount of time she spends on the server is ignored. Which is what I indicated is my problem with an event like this. It is using a limited resource (Amelinda) which would detract from the server quality for people not involved.

summon people to Dreadlands inside the KC area where it's all flat and has walls to keep people from being able to zone.

I am all for ideas that promote the server health/population, but I voted other because the other 2 choices were silly.

I can't see this event doing anything in regards to server health.

And it is clear the guilds involved arent interested in fair pvp.

GM's that do this stuff usually dont develop. Amelinda would be great. Should do this to promote PVP on a PVP SERVER> Thanks.
