This server cannot grow, and people will not stay, if raid content is sucked up by any one or two groups of people. Doesn't matter what the guild tag is. Guilds must come to agreement amongst themselves as to what is fair and what isn't... something that surely isn't being accomplished on P99.

Will there be more than one or two hardcore raiding guilds in the future? Yes. But that isn't the case right now. And what is the rest of the population to do while one or two guilds completely dominate the server because they attract people that can be summoned at any given time to a raid call? Make more alts? Forget that.

Like Trimm said, this was the exception to the rule for Divinity. It wasn't something that was even planned. Our 'camp" could have fallen apart at any given time.

However, things must change to allow more guilds to have access to current content. The Devs shouldn't be expected to babysit any of us. How this will all play out depends on guild leadership, and diplomacy.

On a personal aside...If my posts are read, I never said anything about how many people we had in Perma, other than there were less than 5 members missing in that picture Ab took at the beginning of this thread. With me counting 30-33 with my poor old eyesight, and another guildee counting 35 (god knows how) that would be about right. I'm still surprised -and proud - that there were as many people there as there was.

Maybe late to this thread... but as many have said: you (in the plural form) just don't really understand what Divinity is about!

I've been with Divinity since I'm in the teens. That was so long ago I've watched so many passed by because of my play schedule (working at a hospital does that to you....) The guild chat is as laid back an atmosphere as you could ever have hoped for. The people? They're family to me. My GF plays the game, sitting at level 32, and people would run 4-5 zones to throw rezzes. I know they are probably not doing anything, but it still takes a crazy amount of dedication to make that commitment to run while most would've just AFKed. It's not as if she was asking either; it's just the fact that she mentioned about a group training her and 2-3 people are on their way....

We're not the type of raiding guild that really gets angry over petty things. It's a social guild that loves raiding as much as possible, and we take whoever would like to come in any way possible without sacrificing our position. I'm still sitting at level 47 after all this time, but they take me like a regular at EVERY raid that I could attend, no questions asked. The welcome you get when you say hi is unbelievable and the drama is being kept as low as possible. Sure, we've had people that left before, mainly due to the fact that we weren't in a position to raid back then, but I just don't think there's much more of a close-knitted atmosphere as you could find in Divinity!

I'm just glad to have been in Unrest at the right place, in the right group, at the right time. D4L!

I see Ammutt in there! If he's at Perma, who was camping lord?!
WHAT IS HAPPENING SOMEBODY EXPLAIN!

And grats. Good stuff, saw oodles and oodles of Divinity popping up at NK some day or two back, and figured something was going. Me loyal ogre scouts stationed in Perma reported folks parking there. =X
