All Luclin models look better except iksar, i could never stand the new iksar model. While the old male and female models looked tall and proud, the new male model looked like quasimodo on steroid ... dont even get me started on the luclin female iksar ... HO - RI - BLE !! (Hope whoever designed those models are scraping chewing gums from sidewalks or something equally befitting their talent).

Sad part is i only had new models activated for the few races i played (DE, HE, Erudite and a cpl more), and old models on the rest. Trying to raid with all new models activated was impossible and trying to activate mount while on old model didn't work.

My all time favorite would have to be DE, not just for looking good but for the role play value, being evil is just so much more fun!

New models look like the same model (is a horrible Copy paste) ... But old models have Charisma.

The "wonky" run animation of the troll has been what I fall of love for them. is hilarious, This game needs THAT "touch". Love see in the horizon a group of ogres runing ahead me, is see that and start to laugh of happiness.

I like that there are big characters. Long Live Walls of Fatys!

Most of the new models were a downgrade, but I liked a lot of the new armor. I always played knights, and platemail on the old models was just a skin on your body. It was nice having plate that looked like plate.

So I guess the general census seems to be that male trolls, female wood elves and female dark elves look good.

I don't really trust my own opinion since I'm new to EQ and until my eyes get adjusted and my WoW goggles come off everything still looks like Minecraft to me.

I have to admit the male ogre's goofiness are kind of growing on me though. Just wish they had less pajama-like armor.

I think, if only they had added more polygons to the characters in Luclin (old's model respecting). and added more armor graphics (preserving normal armors, change look of sets like WoW but not so outrageously recharge with lights and sparks), and the old animations but a little more worked. Surely it would have been better. :/ ...

I miss see a Ogre or Troll like old Graphics but redone to actual graphics.
