I did my "research" on YouTube and reddit reading some comments and I made up my mind that I don't trust the official news the government creates for us by financing studies and mass media.

I'll be honest, those numbers don't really make sense to me. They look like an effective meme someone has made however they came to those numbers... Why are the compasses all circled? Is that some kind of joke that compasses are useful for drawing a circle of a specific radius?

Newton was an incredible mathemtician. Did you know he invented (derived?) calculus in order to describe the motions of the heavenly bodies? I got a copy of his principa mathematica, translated into English though (Latin was the Lingua Franca for a great period due to it's international study making it a decent way to transmit knowledge across borders). Often when people were described as illiterate it meant they couldn't read or write latin, not that they couldn't read at all in their own tongue. He also did a good study of light. Look at this crazy little rainbow that manifests on his bedroom wall!

Anyway, I visited Newton's childhood house. It is where he was free enough to commit to his work (there was a lockdown which prevented him from staying at University to stop the spread of disease). It is really funny, cos he is always described as coming from humble origin, but really it is a pretty big house with a decent whack of worked land attached to it (for which he had labourers). It really highlighted the discrepancy between the absurd wealth of those who write history, those who have some opportunities, and those who represent the most everyday people. If you're ever in the UK it is a good visit.

Some devices Copernicus (the robot says) would likely have used to calculate the Heliocentric model of the solar system before Newton. I get the impression these were more useful before calculus was discovered.

Armillary sphere? This seems newer.

The chopsticks thing is more noticeable because it's still around.

I’m sorry Soren, but I must point out no one here actually seems to be simping for the pharmaceutical industry here. Nor the damaging / ever changing diagnoses they try put on you.

To me it feels like you have a lot of pent up frustration on how it has impacted you and this seems as good a place as any to vent about it.

When did that happen though? Have I missed the big news?
nah its just fake and everyone knows it. Theres still a lot of genX-melinials that need to cope with it so its just kind of being slowly forgotten about.

I mean I'm just saying I have experience with antidepressants and antipsychotics cause I'm actually taking these pills. If you were given a choice to take these pills or not and you feel good right now, would you rather listen to the therapist who gives everyone pills or to me who would recommend not taking any pills?

As I said the antidepressant sertraline was nothing. It didn't do anything. But that antipsychotic stuff is dangerous. You will need it all your life if you take it for 2 years. I tried quitting 5 times it's impossible. Maybe with a ridiculously slow taper off like 7.25 mg for 6 months then 7 mg for 6 months and so on. But it's kinda unnecessary to try this.

I can still go to work and play videogames but I gotta say I'm pretty sure it's like an invisible big handicap on me. It makes you tired and slow and I can't even fall asleep without taking my olanzapine. Cold turkey off this shit and you will die and feel pain. But as long as you take it you might only get a headache in the morning and feel a bit tired or have a racing mind but I think that's cause of my schizophrenia, right?

Jimjam you're kind and smart. You are very right. I use project1999 forum as a vent. I posted some stuff that can get me banned from life here. But noone will ever read it, I hope. I just want to make sure that you know I'm a flat earther and a climate change denier.
