This being said, yes there is a “numbers game” strategy, and because it can be effective, I’m sure it subconsciously reinforces this guy’s world view

And that “numbers game” strategy is that, if a 6/10 looks dude went around outside bars and clubs and popular hangouts and asked out 500 women significantly out of his league (which would mean dozens per night out), eventually he would get a “yes”

That’s assuming this person can mentally handle the hundreds of rejections. And the female version would be a woman who either also gets rejected or only gets a one night stand-> ghost with a “Chad” guy. A string of these would also tend to wear negatively on their self-esteem, believe me

So is it an effective strategy? Sure, one of the most effective if you want to “punch above” your dating weight. Does it mean that all men and women behave or should behave in this way? No

Like I said, good luck with your hundreds of rejections trying it

If mankind builds AI girlfriend's/boyfriends.

And also invents birthing pods, so traditional relationships between men and woman would no longer be required for procreation.

Lol yes. But interestingly enough, for the first time in my life, I had a teenage girl client describe having an AI boyfriend recently. She was self-conscious enough to not label it directly as that, she called it her “assistant”. But it was definitely male and designed in a way to be appealing to her

I felt really bad because this girl was actually very pretty for her age, and that was a factor as to why she was being bullied by her peers (girls especially tend to really hate on pretty girls, and I am not sexist, this is a thing a lot of girls will reluctantly confirm). AND to make matters worse she had neglectful parents. So she smelled like B.O. and was wearing dirty clothes

And I’m smelling her talking about not being able to date her “crush” and describing her AI assistant and I’m thinking “girl, you are 13, you absolutely can’t be the smelly kid and have any chance in hell at dating”. But I said nothing. I did submit a report to child protective services about her constant tardiness due to her parents, her poor hygiene, and unwashed clothes. Food, clothes, shelter, hygiene. It’s not a lot, but that’s the shit parents are legally responsible for their kid

i'm pretty sure like 80%+ of people are making the opposite sex choice for ai assistants, and assistant is the branding on it now in the business world, if you turn on CNBC or Bloomberg 4 out of 5 commercials are about Ai Assistants, some are hilarious usually involving people falling alseep/day dreaming during a meeting and the assistant saving their job by telling them what to say

the only thing new about this from a teen girl prospective is its a chatbot, is it really that different from a parasocial "i'm dating a member of the backstreet boys" weird phase they go through? and like 90% of women are into fantasy smut novels anyway so worse case it's that but interactive now lol

The couples coming off the monorail can't afford to have custom avatars made and don't know how to write their own. They have to buy off-the-shelf avatars. One of the girls has a pretty nice one. It would be considered quite the fashion statement among the K-Tel set. Looks like she has bought the Avatar Construction Set (tm) and put together her own, customized model
out of miscellaneous parts. It might even look something like its owner. Her date doesn't look half bad himself.

The other girl is a Brandy. Her date is a Clint. Brandy and Clint are both popular, off-the-shelf models. When white-trash high school girls are going on a date in the Metaverse, they invariably run down to the computer games section of the local Wal-Mart and buy a copy of Brandy. The user can select three breast sizes: improbable, impossible, and ludicrous. Brandy has a limited repertoire of facial expressions: cute and pouty; cute and sultry; perky and interested; smiling and receptive; cute and spacy. Her eyelashes are half an inch long, and the software is so cheap that they are rendered as solid ebony chips. When a Brandy flutters her eyelashes, you can almost feel the breeze. Clint is just the male counterpart of Brandy. He is craggy and handsome and has an extremely limited range of facial expressions.
