Woops, looks like the pirate cloak isn't useable by Shamans at all due to race restrictions. It should be taken out of the Shaman Equipment list.

Noob question so I’ll ask it here:

Is whatever AC (and to a lesser extent stats like agi) is doing to reduce mob damage per hit calculated before that amount is then absorbed by a damage absorb buff?

I would assume so. This would mean that having better AC would also mean your runes aren’t getting removed as fast as well, correct? Since the rune is ultimately taking less total damage?

So people with ridic raid gear with a pile of ac and stats are not only getting more survivability but also a much more efficient rune if so
