Pros: You heal faster.
Cons: Your constantly covered in a "sticky substance". And probably smell bad.

Yes. Getting nuked for 1000 damage during a four minute fight is much worse than losing ~600 HP worth of regen. That could instantly kill you if you are lower on health. Resistances are very nice on a Shaman in the endgame.

Fungi is the best thing you can get for a chest piece while leveling. But you aren't going to care about whether or not you put 5 points into AGI while leveling with a Fungi lol. The starting stats matter more if you make it to the endgame.

My current plan while i wait for armageddon...

ogre shaman
fungi tunic
10 dex 15 agi
don't fight mobs which nuke for 1000 HP
don't spend 100k on nodrop loot
At 60, if I make it that far, reroll
gief fungi to newly created char

Can't go wrong with an Ogre Shaman + Fungi Tunic!

20 WIS + 5 AGI is better than 10 DEX 15 AGI. You'll be fine either way, but the DEX + AGI will be less useful.

If you're worried about the -10 AGI, get a https://wiki.project1999.com/Gnomish_Pirate_Cloak and talk like a pirate while killing mobs. Everybody wins.

Woops, looks like the pirate cloak isn't useable by Shamans at all due to race restrictions. It should be taken out of the Shaman Equipment list.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Barbed_...cale_Pauldrons and any other AGI item works fine too.

You can still talk like a pirate if you want.

I currently have fungi on troll shaman and I regen so fast it's going to waste so I thought why not switch to ogre for the FSI now that I have fungi because being stunned is BS.

Yeah FSI is really nice on a Shaman. Get a https://wiki.project1999.com/Fungi_Covered_Great_Staff too, so you get free Regrowth. It basically acts as a Flowing Thought II item, as it saves you about 1200 mana per hour casting the spell. I used it in my mainhand while leveling as a Global Cooldown Item and Regen referesher.

Pair it with https://wiki.project1999.com/Black_Fur_Boots so you can instantly switch to SoW when you need to run away.

No. CHA doesn't provide anything for a Shaman other than slightly better merchant prices. But you can CHA buff yourself for that purpose anyway.

Shamans don't have lulls, and do not get Divine Intervention cast on them.
