Yes most sane people (most americans) correctly noticed that defunding the police is a fuckin insane idea, thank god.

Regarding the bottom line section; police go to areas that have the most 911 calls requesting their presence. Also, and this is no small point, *black* cops are more likely to shoot black suspects than white cops. So this raises one of two possibilities: Black cops are racist against their own race, or they are *less* likely to hesitate because they know society at large won't treat them like social pariahs for doing their job.

on that subject, let's see the data on how many, and which, and by how much... police departments actually got defunded in any substantial way.

and any of those that were, was there a net increase in crime as a result?

what about those which had funding increases, did they see crime go up or down?
