The problem with xenophobia is it doesn't go all-in the way agoraphobia does. If a person remained in one location for their whole life, every other living thing would be seen as just that, other, foreign through and through. If everything external is foreign, than so are parts of our body when compared to our minds. That's a more realistic approach to the world at least, because diversity is everywhere you look, even your family tree.
