All this knowledge, $55K/year, and still single?

And it only took you 13 years to advance up to $55K. John Galt, is that you?
Sorry, greed doesn’t drive my life like it does yours. I guess we are just wired differently

I’d rather make less in a job I enjoy. I’m very comfortable in my lifestyle, and 55k/yr is living better than hmm 90% of planet earth? Something like that

And not being married =/= single. I don’t want to have a gf move in until we are soon to be married, and I don’t see myself getting married anytime soon

As much as enjoy it, I’ll stop talking about me. Going on a run, check ya’ll later

55k is fairly run of the mill for income throughout the US. Look at the median wage in the Bay Area

In 2018, the median family income was roughly $108,000 in the Oakland-Fremont Metro and $121,000 in the San Francisco Metro for a family of four.

Considering this usually denotes two earners, figure 55 to 60k/year.

This would be what we call the "proletariat" class. Proliteriats aren't former convicts with addiction problems and a spotty employment history at best. Hope this helps.

Anyone who isn't a failure now is greedy? And all successful people hate their jobs?

You do sound like a liberal!

Middle class are failures? I dunno what that would be, I can’t claim a rich conservative because even we aren’t that dense

How about you redistribute some of that income to me? I know that since you have more you must have gotten it unfairly, something about taking advantage of the poor to get it? Let’s practice a little of that socialism you love

It’s ok, you don’t have to give it to me, I already claimed not to be poor

You care for the less fortunate and have lots of disposable income, how about you put your money where your mouth is and make a donation? Charity of your choice. Prove you aren’t greedy with your wealth

Is this your idea of socialism?

Boy will you get upset when I tell you about the parasite class at the top, not really working and reaping your hard work as their benefits.

Pal, if you're struggling to make a $1200/month mortgage payment... My Amex bill for monthly discretionary spending is twice that. And I'm no Rockefeller.

You need to rethink your philosophy. You're that guy in the 92 Saturn with no AC, dents all over, and the "Rush is Right" sticker, aren't you?

That was an energizing run! We'll add world class speed to your resume.

Everyone not stupid enough to vote for Donald Trump is a socialist. I bet the idea makes perfect sense in your world where Democrats ruin the places where all the people that have more money than you live, but it's not true.

The thing that prompted me to change my registration to independent in 2016 was how smug and self-assured the literally most stupid among us were. I guess the GOP is reaping what it hath sown for sitting by while Fox News and talk radio weaponized stupidity and justified it by the fact that they were winning elections.

I haven't gone yet. I decided to scrape together some of my meager funds and make a donation. How about you amass some of that wealth and match it? Charity of your choice though

Let's see who's greedy and who's not. I put my money where my mouth is, and you happen to have a LOT more money than me

This challenge goes for any liberal here, but only ones who make more than me. If you make less, you are exempt
