Rainbow 🌈 6 underrated and quite novel. Well executed. Didn't hold my interest tho. I was busy playing at it IRL on the weekends unprofessionally. But I smiled at a few levels.

Didn't quite hold my attention.

Mines is probably The Sims: Complete Collection or Might and Magic 6: The Mandate

of Heaven

I also remember playing plants vs zombies on my uncle's laptop as a kid that was fun

also does anyone remember zuma?? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

EDIT: title is supposed to say favorite single player PC game
a man of culture.

It's tough to pick a favorite game, from a growing up and playing it all the time perspective, probably heroes of might and magic 2 and 3. We had 4 people doing hot seat at my friends house, god damnit it if I didnt oppose the alpha (4 years my senior) every single fkin game we played. was a glutton for punishment. I also really liked running with the rampart/elves.

Also, first RPG game i ever played:

Don't forget the classics like

Zangband
Nethack

That secret adventure game thing were u find the sirens after putzing around forever.

And

Paranoia

I think those all damaged me severely when I was actually attempting to make a living by using real consoles.

Thread made me think. I've only ever owned very few single player computer games--so few I could count them on my fingers with digits to spare--and I've bought absolutely no single-player games in the past twenty years. I don't really see video games as a by-myself sort of hobby. I even played DooM mostly multiplayer. I suppose it must be either X-Wing or Wing Commander; neither of those had a multiplayer mode.

My favorite video game of any kind, from any platform, is of course Air Warrior but it's been sadly defunct since 2001 and was a massively multiplayer flightsim anyhow, not single-player. I guess it was single-player insofar as my own household cared since the wife could not play it effectively. She tried, bless her heart, but she simply couldn't do it.
