SameResolution was already 1 in eqclient.ini, but LoadScreenMode wasn't so I set it to 1 and saved. I then tried again. Unfortunately, same issue. After a few tries, I can get to server select, but when I double click my server or click Play Everquest, it freezes up (as if loading or something) and then kicks me back to the login screen after a short time.

The same issues as mentioned in my previous post from 10-15, regarding being kicked back to the login screen.

so are you on linux or windows?
if you are on linux i would suggest not using directx and using mesa+dxvk for your wine graphics as thats all im using with no problems in any zones with linux you will need p99-mimd, on the wiki there is a startup script with p99-mimd running in the background before the p99 client starts and then closes after the p99 client closes. auto start and close only while running the p99 client. | ||

Both. Neither work. As for the workaround, we tried the mimd already. It fixed the initial issue from this thread's first post but lead to the issue mentioned above unfortunately.
