99% he was trying to get more mobs trained to the king, since it was clear that enchanter already had control of the situation for the time being. He wanted to stream an actual deathloop, not a pile of corpses to cry over.

i'd wager there are many elves such as myself that do not have the entire game memorized and enjoy playing full screened immersion mode
