Hehe if you like 020 (Area code of the unmentionable city) You will most definitely enjoy 010. (Rotterdam)

Totally different vibe. A dutch saying goes: "In Rotterdam wordt het verdiend, in den Haag verdeeld en in Amsterdam uitgegeven."

They make the money in Rotterdam (largest shipping transfer port in Europe) They divvy it up in The Hague (seat of government) and spend in in Amsterdam. (capitol city of the Netherlands and tourist magnet.)

Trust me, don't fall for the tourist trap, go for Rotterdam for the real dutch experience (nightlife included) and do the picturesque clogs and windmills after. (Like Kinderdijk, just google the word.)
