You can't have 2 exact filenames in the same folder. I did a fresh install before patch and there is ONLY "DSETUP.DLL" If you were to try to put a dsetup.dll it would replace the DSETUP.DLL .

that worked for me and got eq to open and go to char select, still says files out of date now tho

I kept saying DLsetup, I meant dsetup.dll

Well it has to be something wit that, wasnt it causing a problem on windows for a birus or something? Is the mac readin it as a virus and not opening?

hey everyone. Delete all dsetup.dll files in your eq directory and put in the one from the v49 patch and rename it to DSETUP.dll. this will fix thisngs

There can ONLY be one dsetup.dll in the same folder on a mac, I've already tried renaming the v49 file to DSETUP.dll and it just causes wine to not boot at all again. Are you actually on mac? You cannot have two exact filenames in the same folder to begin with, it is jot case sensitive

So I am working on macOS Mojave version 10.14.6 with no issues using Winskin

Im jealous, I cant figure out what is causing my issues besides the dll file.

the V49 patch dll file name is lower casem rename the file to capital
