That’s true but the complex-systems approach can be informative and innovative, but only if it is implemented as a formal model that allows concrete prediction, falsification, and comparison against more traditional approaches.

if i'm being frank here it's not really "true" so much as "the title of a paper making fun of the complex systems approach"

Wrong. Everything is a mutually exclusive dichotomy.

The dark truth of p99 is that almost everyone has turned to this game as a way to cope with some sort of real life injury or illness, including obesity, disability, or mental health

You could *maybe* say that about the most extreme players. But for the general populace? No way is that true.

This thread definitely proves autism is alive and well at p99. Zodium stacked blocks as a child

Got a gig making handmade notebooks for a renaissance fair and was told to wear old clothes, so I put on some of my remaining men’s regalia... 36 waist jeans and xl Hanes T-shirt. Black shirt jeans shoes jacket.

I forgot how fucking big these pockets were. I can fit my whole hand and a third of my forearm into the front pockets. Was in a rush and forgot my belt so these big ass jeans are falling off my ass and I think that’s what really brought me back. Men’s jeans never fit my hips right.

I actually got wistful for my days of being an avoidant weird dude with mild sociopathic tendencies. This suit of I don’t give a fuck armor is something I truly miss the literal comfort of.

The guild was an afterthought. Just curious about everyone's experiences and if there's others like me.

Yes, but for some reason I watched it all the way through. It was about as riveting as the below video.
