Saw a dude asking about getting a lucan kill in server chat a month or so ago and the next day he was thanking the guys for helping him get the kill lol. Ask around and you'll probably find a nice person with the timer and some people to help with the kill.
Lol. I'd rather pay than freeload but I'll start asking around in EC.

Thank you.

If you REALLY wanted the soulfire and were ready to kill Lucan tho you would already have parked a lvl 1 toon in there overnight to log his spawn time so you could get your group together for the next kill. I don't think you're hungry enough for it.

How do I log his spawn time?

Well I finally found someone there working on their own epic, and they are level 60 lol.

I'm just gonna wait here until he spawns while doing some chores and make note of the time.

Even if I'm AFK a long time and 30min off, that's a hell of a lot better than 7 hours.

You're right, I probably don't. I don't even know what that guy means when he says "log the spawn time".

None of my chat windows have any kind of timestamp whatsoever.
If you look at the actual log files they have a timestamp.

Where are those located if I may ask?

Go to your Sony everquest install folder find eqclient.ini

Add Log=TRUE if not already there

Logs will be in your Sony everquest folder/logs subfolder now if they were not already.

Oh wonderful. I literally had no idea about this.

Thank you so much.

Do I have to turn them on or off somehow (I changed the Log line from FALSE to TRUE in that file)?

I just did a test run and the only file in that log folder was titled "dbg" and the timestamp was from 2015.

Any ideas?

Fwiw, it also wouldn't let me edit the file. I had to cut it to desktop first before I could change that line, then I moved the new version back into the Everquest folder.
