See my last post. The wall isn't just about people being here illegally. It is about the criminal underground that surrounds illegal smuggling of all kinds. CBP captures loads of creatively smuggled (e.g: cocaine in frozen shrimp shipments) illegal cargo at ports and airports every day. We don't just throw up our hands and say "Well, it'll come in anyway," we do what we can to prevent it from happening, or to make it much more difficult, expensive, and time-consuming for smugglers to do so.

$5 billion for the border wall (or steel-slatted barrier) is ONE MONTH in Afghanistan. It is also approximately HALF of the $10.6 billion in development aid that we have pledged to Mexico and Central America. Just putting the dollar amount in perspective.

I am by no means a trump koolaid drinker but I really don't understand the liberals with this one...

Defense budget got increased to 716 BILLION dollars approved by congress and not a single bleeding heart liberal said a word.

But now they are flailing about bitching and screaming about 5.7 billion for a wall, they claim the wall wont change anything and its a waste of money, you never hear them crying this loud about the billions we waste elsewhere, usually from liberal policies.

It's almost like there's a blatant ulterior motive here that has nothing to do with trying to save 5.7 billion dollars. I think they are afraid it will work and prove Trump right and that scares the shit out of liberals more than anything.

They are willing to risk american citizens safety and let illegal border hopping run rampant if it means they don't have to admit Trump or conservatives are right. I'm so sick of the liberals today not having any knowledge of a situation other than just gobbling up everything spoon fed to them by CNN its fucking disgusting.
