Then you must consider the fact that they are a very small staff to begin with, the fact that p99 is great as it is nothing short of amazing (at least I think so).

Let's never forget this. I've still got that glint of novelty, having only played for a month or so. It's pretty cool that this even exists, is relatively populated, and is free.

Honestly, what if the devs just "accidentally lost" all character data and backups and just said "whoops, our bad, REMINDER: IT'S FREE" If it was convincing, we wouldn't see the endless whinging like we would if they announced their intentions and reasoning. That's like making a Star Wars movie, doing anything, and also doing nothing, is wrong.
