I recall a role playing wood elf named Layonya Forpp who made a lot of money in EC in Fennin Ro just telling stories.

I try my best to never buy anything that can't be resold. Most of my "wealth" has come from not sinking my plat into non-resellable stuff for my toons (either no drop MQ stuff, spells, or items that lose their value).

Be patient when buying big ticket items. When you start getting up to the 200k range you can see price variations of +/- 30k sometimes.

Other than that, its just time. The slow constant accumulation of plat...it adds up over time.

Also, I had the common sense to bank 6 holgresh beads (I think I bought them for about 20-30k each while they were regularly farmed). I don't understand how people didn't do this...it was stupidly obvious.

You don't bend to the whim of your customers who have plat to burn, if you are PLing, you make the terms.

This is just as good advice as some of the others, even if it is sold as an example of what not to do. I've only powerleveled a few people and have never advertised it as a "service", more as a favor with the expectation of a set rate per hour platinum. It can be pretty good money if you find the right impatient twink alt.

Having said that, I've been guilt tripped into doing many a port that I simply didn't want to do because I was XPing or grouping with buds, et cetera. It's hard to turn down when someone is naked and wanting to get back to their body. A little different from the greed and impatience of wanting to be PL'd, but it's in the same vein.

roll an enchanter get him to 16 and then sell "mana regeneration buffs" in KC, Seb, and even Kael. If you're smart you won't die, and you'll also be /roleplay - ask for 100pp for groups and 50pp for individual and you'll be able to earn a good bit of cash every night just by logging into your ENC and selling people Breeze.

100% did it on my ENC and made thousands of plat
