TBH, I spend more time reading and responding to you nerds on forums than I do in the game atm.

I have rolled 5 different toons in the past 3 weeks, gotten to lvl 20-22 and deleted them out of boredom and resentment for them.

I may have to detach myself for awhile to try to rejuvenate my lust for Norrathian adventure.

Trying a bard and I find the work of twisting to get 3 songs going at once way too laborious for my taste. I could easily be a lazy player and run one song only, but then I feel like I am wasting power I should be using.

I actually have discomfort in my hand doing the 1,2,3,4 repetition and my toon aint even 20 yet.

Bard is a pain in the ass to play. I made mine thinking I could just play mana song and AFK my way to 60, turns out not so much.

You are basically expected to be main puller and tank (especially if you are twinked) up inot the 40s. At that point you become a sh!ty tank and your regen songs are powerful enough where you can start to do more bard-like things such as singing songs and not running all over creation for your group.

Even so some people will get p!ssy with you if you want to Lute instead of Melee, really just depends on the group. Typically 40+ you are CCing, slowing mobs, and jamming mana song... Haste song sometimes but usually a chanter or shammy is around.

In the past I got to mid 20s on a bard, I was geared very well. I was pulling, I was tanking, and I was CCing, all the while having noobs demand I play this other song or that. I quit that bard and made him my trader for awhile. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

So once you in the 40s, are you still twisting songs constantly? if so, fuck this class.

This is probably the only time I would say Agnarr has something right, and that is that system ingame that let's you play 3 songs without having to twist them.
