Very early SoL thread "RE: Paladin undead crit log (long)" pertaining to the disc. Trying to find the first post or a reply that contains its logs.

If you don't have combat fury, you SHOULD be getting almost no crits or crips at all. Going an entire holyforge with 0 crippling blows was not abnormal back in 2000 at all. 0 crits though would be very unlikely.
Just sayin'

Did the critical hits only affect undead? I recall my paladin getting crits versus living sometimes but it may have been a limited bug, and I don't remember ever crippling vs a living npc.
I'm regards to this, granted it is a 2020 conversation regarding TLP paladins

Niente also says that Crippling Blows from HF require an undead target and I think all paladins know that that is not true (a noticeable benefit of HF are cripples vs live mobs).

See Combat Fury AA

Niente made at last that one mistake in his thoughtful post about how the code works. Is he wrong a both counts? Apparently so. Is Holyforge more beneficial in it's current form, i.e. not working from 55 to 58 and yet providing crippling blows to live mobs from 55 to 115+? Maybe paladins on live will say "leave it alone". While TLP paladins, who keep reliving the 55-60 era, will say "fix the bug". This thread is evidence of the latter.
