I don't think it happened til luclin tbh. I seem to remember training spectres and tangrin and all sorts of mobs on noobies back in the day and they never reset as long as I was running around. Then in luclin I remember kiting some mobs in the grey and eventually they would reset. I highly doubt it happened before luclin but I don't exactly have the best memory in the world either, its a good memory, but not best.
my memory is terrible. nevertheless I concur with this less than stellar memory. don't think it was classic ^^

Would have been more fun if they ninja-patched this. Missed opportunity, Haynar.

Yes, it is classic. I don't remember it but it certainly appears to have been classic given the posts from the time period about it.

It's not strictly a classic feature; it's a Kunark feature. I cannot recollect whether it was retroactively applied to old-world zones since, being a Paladin, outrunning trains wasn't my thing.

Danth
didn't apply retroactively.

in fact, I don't think it applied in velious zones.

Leash never happened in classic zones is why you remember the Spectres. In Kunark and Velious they did.

Actually Velious expanded the leash range. In Kunark it was just 200.

I could buy it -- my real point is that it was applied differently across different zones (not as a universal change)

You guys are lucky Mobs not loitering isn't getting added to ToV. Makes the zone funner and a bit more of a challenge to split. But for what you guys do it would make a few things a pain.

Correct. But they went with a more generalized fix for the time being until someone else wants to go through and figure out what the exact distances are per zone (if anyone ever wants to do this).

Need to get the base work in before you fine tune it.
