They should just add a character flag that sends player accounts to a different ST zone if they've been involved in awakening the sleeper before. That way the trolls that keep trying to grief the rest of us end up only griefing themselves.

When we woke the sleeper we had people there that had less than 10% raid attendance.

Moral of the story, if you wanted to be there, you probably could have been, regardless of your play time.

Bringing the Sleeper back would actually be the single most non-classic thing imaginable, so it might just happen on P99.

That made no sense and my IQ did actually just drop right now while reading that. But I'll say every main monk did get a "fancy gray robe" except for one newer monk I believe. Sleeper was Rampages last raid, so my head hurts reading your comment to be frank.

Yup. Had to key monks so they wouldn't rot. There was a ventani or two when every keyed monk had a robe.

I find it interesting that everyone who woke the sleeper has quit, i had no idea.

You guys aren't thinking this through. Forget the loot and the chance to do content you've never done before. If we do this, the guild name Awakened will have lost its meaning. I cannot have that on my conscience.

Also lol at the "legends" for waking the sleeper comment. Cringe. I had good buddies in Rampage, but they're just people playing a video game, and no one outside of a few thousand people remotely have interest.

I think the most vehement people against the idea are really just the ones who have the gear that drops and don't want anyone else to have it

When 11 people have that sick Monk only robe, they probably want to keep it that way to make it more "special"

Not saying just those people that have that, or even all the people that have that think that way, it's just the only really good drop I know of off the top of my head to use as an example

Yep I agree, and I was laughing when Velious launched and people were all shouting "FIRST" "first!" at stuff that dropped or was killed.

Who got the first pair? If the answer is anything except "I dont know" then all these server firsts really are meaningless....except maybe the Sleeper.
