I played for a bit on Anathema, but the profession skills got bugged and dont work properly. I sent in a bug report a few times aboutit, but no resolution. Needless to say, I do not log in anymore. It as fun though while it lasted. The PvP was decent & if you avoided the wackadoodles & the vomit in chat; you could meet some good players worldwide.

One of my characters professions got bugged. I had another character that they worked just fine. Sadly, it was the higher lvl character that was kerflaffed up and I ran out of steam to level the other. So; in essence, it was a character bug.

Best private server out there at the moment imo. 55 rogue on Anathema, and really enjoying the hell out of it.

exp on nost is 1x basically all the players are unemployed or on drugs and have endless time

having extensively played several vanilla WoW emus over the past several years i can safely say what i thought was a good game was simply nostalgia

vanilla WoW is actually very bad in many regards

old school alterac valley is really the only decent thing, however it varies from server to server and most of the time the metagame is just to just avoid pvp altogether and race to kill the other team's boss

TBC had the good parts of vanilla WoW except it wasn't completely horribly designed in most ways

unfortunately, there has never been and probably never will be a decent TBC emu server

Vanilla WoW is a good game, better than the current game IMO. Its biggest issue was the lack of viable talent specs at end-game, those were pretty bad, putting all the hybrids into healing, giving DPS 1 maybe 2 good specs, making EVERY Warrior tank, etc.

Classic EQ is vastly better balanced at launch.
