Someone who copies other peoples work and butchers it are the exact opposite of what you are portraying. They are the ones with no imagination or drive. They want their own game but can't do it themselves. If you want to be successful with an emulator and deliver what people want, you make it close to the original. Only minor changes to adjust for population and technology advancements should be considered if you want a legit box.

There is a difference between making a new game that has similarities or uses established graphics engines and someone making an eq server with only iksar and cleric/enchanters.

If you are comparing your idea of a server to creating a game like counter strike from scratch while borrowing ideas from other games you are more delusional than I thought possible.

That is a prediction and I disagree. Red99 has rumors of cheating and favoritism but maintains a small population. These zek servers have been coming out for years and no one stays on themy because highly custom eq emulator servers suck.

The only thing people enjoy about them is a fresh start which is why they now wipe every few months because it is all they have going for themselves. The servers that last a year literally go to 0 population.

I thought you were one of those smart idiots who are actually brilliant but waste their talents on trolling and disruption and generally take things too far and end up alienating people. I must revise my opinion.

This Kunark EQ PvP mod sounds fantastic. Kunark is vast and enchanting and it could be explored and appreciated so much more with this concept. Same goes for the Iksar and their five tribes. Also, I don't claim to know the right way to solve the problems of clerics and enchanters on PvP servers, but you are wise to attempt to address them. The overall concept is great and I believe many people would dive into this scaly world.
