No, I didn't click your link. I didn't need to, I know Minibosses although I have to say Powerglove = <3 live as opposed to them. Unfortunately their recorded stuff does not rock nearly as hard as they do live.

And yes, it's hard not to hate Machinae Supremacy...singer's voice is downright awful. Some of the songs manage to be decent in spite of him, though.

FF3 (FF6 if we want to be fully accurate) had awesome theme music, as did Chrono Trigger.

Got a few that I like just cant name them of the top of my head. People make music now days with oldschool 8bit sounds. There called Chip Tunes or 8Bit music. Some of the songs sound pretty cool. Bitshifter is a popular 8bit artist.
