This is a terrible decision from GMs. The sanction should have been: Salaryman KOS to the guild he ninja looted. This would have been applauded in Eve. But blablabla alts, fuck that. If he wants to burn 6 lvl 60 toons to get 6 pieces of gear, more power to him.

Personally i would never do that. Its not my style. But thats what makes a sandbox great vs a purple crappy server like red where GMs think they must interfere with every aspect of the game. Like giving this guy his pots bind back, for those who remember that. Id never do something as nasty as that, but its part of a sandbox game.

Why did the ninja'd loot go back? I mean, PD is on weekly lock down?

Gratz Threepeat, it is deserved...but it seems like it should've been handled via KOS and kicking (even if he was quitting server).

But who am I kidding, I've logged Siepher in maybe 4x since Empire disbanded. Fighting a zerg was fun, being part of a zerg is pretty hard to stomach. It was fun while it lasted, and glad both Salaryman and Threepeat got PD robes [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

To me, it's not "a PvP move" to ninja-loot from your own guild. An untagged Salaryman would never have made it into the Peak, let alone to PD's lair to attempt to loot an item. He displayed none of the guts and glory of the Siepher v. Empire ninja-loot.

I like this point by point refutation of my stance that this is the sort of thing where the punishment should be dealt with, sandbox-style, by the players.

If you really must know though, i dont even play here. Specifically because of terrible decisions like this.
