And yes your weight does play a role. 100 cal/mile is a reasonable average estimate. A small woman is going to burn less (ie less than 100 calories a mile) than an obese 6'3" man (more than 100 calories a mile). At the end of the day, the estimated 'calorie burn' by exercise equipment is always grossly exaggerated.

![]() oh also I missed a gym session, bossed 12.4km/h @ 35 mins the last time so I'm going to try 12.6km/h tonight.
I'm thinking once I can tackle 13k per hour at 35 minutes I'll start extending to 40 mins, 45 etc. | ||
