Because they can. And will continue to unfortunately. Its the same reason why people use aimbots or wallhacks in FPS games or bots and wowglider in WoW. Because it gives them an edge and they don't care that it hurts the rest of the server.

If the speed limit is 55, and there's no cops around, do you still only go 55?

The cheaters I get most annoyed with are those that do in FPS games. Warrock.net for instance. Not to s my own d, but im hands down the best warrock player to ever download the game - that is right up until people started hacking.

Hacking in a skill based game.. I mean really? The entire point of the game is survival, and reliance on your own abilities.. no one remembers your gamer tag, and your equipment is purchased for real life $... what in the fuck are you hacking for? is griefing and trolling THAT much fun?
