When the group XP bonus is ridiculous...yeah it is
Nobody makes you join a six man group, try a duo or even solo if you want to "turn it down".

Exactly! I've done plenty of small groups and solo. It all depends on what I feel like I am up for. The other thing to keep in mind is that even though we've an xp bonus, gameplay itself is generally slower because lowbies aren't geared to the teeth and even at higher lvls (pre-raid), pvp means that players prioritize resists over other stats.

As far as time investment on red/blue, given a fixed amount of playtime:

1. If you want to experience a greater variety of content, roll red
2. If you want to experience a greater volume of the same content, roll blue.

Yeah it's pretty sick, and usually as soon as you join a group a level 60 druid shows up in zone to powerlevel you red too.

It's not everquest. It's kindercare for aspergers.

Oh and the "try a duo" thing only works if you have social skills and people want to duo with you. Nobody wants to duo with me because I'm bad, and am bad at thegame. So I have to join those zergling pugs in order to level.

Actually the duoin thing is nice. I just wish more people would ascribe to them.
