Huge turnoff for newer games and joining a new guild is vent requirement shit where these children expect you to be in voice chat all the time.

Some PvP games I can see if you wanna roll a coordinated premade or what not vent is a huge plus. But seriously, requiring vent to be in a raid guild on p1999? Fucking joke, just because your a loser and can scream like a newborn in your basement or wherever the fuck you play, doesn't mean people with an actual life wanna lock themselves in a room and talk to a bunch of people with the combined maturity level of a 12 year old.

You cant possibly convince me your not a huge loser if you log into vent regularly for 4+ hours. Nobody with a Wife/GF could possibly get away with this, let alone want to let others them see them with a headset on like there 14 again playing Halo.

This. So much this. I can barely stand to put the fucking headset on, especially when my girlfriend is around the house. Then requiring for us to listen to you chewing, ranting and screaming at your mom, I just can't anymore.

But people organizing raids just scream and shout I just hate myself and hate this game. There are so many factors at play, it's just not fast-paced enough to even merit voice, in in fact it's so slow that all voice chat tends to disintegrate into mindless drug talk.

Idiots just make vaguely human at each other and expect us all to listen happily. The worst is when guild leaders tell everybody else to shut the fuck up so they can grunt at each other we are forced to listen.

I don't have a social void that this game fills, at this point I'm playing as a duty. I definitely don't want to fucking talk hear you talk and pretend to be alpha by bragging about shit you should be in rehab for.

Over the years I've been in a dozen guilds, and once you hit raiding level, they're all the same.

You do realize your playing an emulated version of a game 15 years old right? Not sure if your aware, but all this content was dominated by successful high end guilds when people had 64MB of ram and ran on a 56k modem.
