Any way you slice it, i think Occam's razor does point to the guy himself or one of his agents doing the spamming. it simply doesnt make sense that someone else is doing this since there really is no repercussion that would be taken against red. Does this really make sense in your head? It doesn't make sense to ddos a gaming server you don't play on. Some people just want to watch the world burn.

And when most of the server was getting similar tells in the past that some random player was saying "bad things about you", it turns out...that random player wasn't.

You read these forums and play on this server and don't encounter people who would happily waste their time on something as dumb as this? Do tell.

i'm saying the likely hood of someone doing it who can actually monetarily benefit from it is far greater than some random bored person doing it.

hell, its more likely a russian crime syndicate compromised his page with the angler exploit kit and is just trolling victims to the site to load the malware than it is a random bored person is doing it

people need motives and while watching the world burn is surely a motive, i dont think the potential result here is much more than a glowing tinder so not a very strong motivation to go thru the trouble of setting up a tool to mass flood the server with messages. i would want more reward than some single guy posting in RnF for my efforts.

Right, because people want to be spammed with random messages in game and they love to be told that a guy is talking shit about them on Twitch. Thus, they'll run right over and donate to the rice cake fund.
