At this time, I LOL to the people who were trying to sell, and anyone who bought, a Seaworthy Planking MQ for 150-200k.

Why? If you have a full BFG, you get all 3 pieces back.

I interpreted it that you'd get the rope and wing, not the plank back. Those of us with BFGs having to get new planks later.

I can understand removing the hundreds of banked planks. I feel like its overkill removing the BFGs from the people who have em. Not like theres hundreds of BFGs floating around. I'd be very surprised if there were more than 2 dozen completed BFGs on the server atm.

Huh, you might be right. I thought it was the other way. That is a little cruel.

The only reason you obtained one in the first place was because of the bug. Same shit that happened today.

Side note, if I was working on velious, my first order of business would have been making sure this quest was in working order. I can't imagine what else is not working properly considering this is the first and only thing I have done with this xpac.

Considering I spent several of the first hours [after we hit what targets we were doing on day one] of Velious hunting down planks without having any known locs and without relogging I disagree with this bug being the only reason I got one. I made it a priority to waste my time trying to get a plank and it paid off. Just because other people knew the trick about relogging and hoarded tons of planks in their banks doesn't change that.

My point is that most people just banked planks to wait. I've seen maybe a handful of other BFGs and would be sincerely surprised if more than 30 people have even finished one yet. Removing those BFGs is kind of pointless considering how many people will end up with BFGs on this server if they stick to live timeline.
