Likewise here, I got into beta right before jaina? was put into the game. Moba's aren't really my thing and Hots didn't help that any, but I have spent some time in LoL over the past years, very casually.

1) time warner has a 100% monopoly here. There the only provider available for 1000s of square miles
2) I get sub 50ms ping in literally every other online game I play
