I see your dilemma. Its not like a 10ft pole is just a dime a dozen item. I mean I guess it would be pretty expensive depending on the material. Wood would be nice aesthetically, but it tends to be very heavy. Aluminum would.be the affordable choice, but the tensile strength suffers in my opinion. Now what you need is a good composite material. Carbon fiber is the best. It offers light weight and high strength.
So yeah. I guess I would trust just about anyone with a 10ft carbon fiber pole.
