Advice for faction grinding on Shaman epic

You're right. I was doing it wrong before. Was able to do whole quest up to Black Dire on my own after I got it right, including receiving the CoM compendium.

Side note: how the fuck did people figure these quests out on the original servers? Were they announced? Or did people suss them out through trial and error?

Right? Shaman quest in particular... All those ghosts literally trying to make you fail... And in the most fucked up locations to return too, had they succeeded.

I think about that everytime I do the shaman epic.
