This was eventually used as a zone-in point for a PoHate instance that was part of the rogue epic "1.5" quest. I think you actually fight Lanys T`Vyl at the end of the instance. This would have been Omens of War era that it was added I think.

It was used in Omens of War for the Rogue Epic 1.5. Was a portal to s special Hate zone where Innoruuk had to die.

It is isn't it entrance to finish the rogue 1.5 epic on live or am I way off?

Correct. And for years this part sucked. Because it requires you had something like 14~ players in Oasis at the top of the spire to trigger the special PoHate instance for the Rogue Epic, even when that part was soloable.

it was for paladin 2,0 epic,

anyways if a zone was cool and 100% classic would be Marauders mire.
