remember when GW was discussing the pro's and cons of merging and they only wanted to give vapo 1/7th of a say? they were always going to marginalize us from day 1. and use you to carry most of the water the whole time.

Meh, I didn't want to see the other Aussies and ex-Nihilum apps quit the server due to the forced guild disband. If GW took em all in, things would have played out differently.

ur a pal drakar but i was subtly hinting this^ too when you'd ask me why I quit/quitting.
My character progression and your character was complete as far as they had gone.

Teir A+ loot aka VP loot was always going to the boyz in the hood; remember you'd say there's loot to be gained in vp w/ holo; there wasn't ever any loot to be gained in vp -- dat shits given out to boys who knee and open wide or are close pals with the top 5-10 in the guild.

SoW sword, Crown of Rile, and Hoshkar booties are pretty much a few of the end game items of Kunark that last thru Velious; them items going to the boys that offer back rubs before anyone else, and then probably their alts before the next level of players in the guild.

Raid attendance/helping people level has nothing to do with it lol, pvp attendance has a bit of play.

Maybe when Holo was mass recruiting and took blaze onboard it was important; but that was while everyone squirmed around for position in the guild.

It's not new concept to any guild, every guild I have been like the ^ in for time's I've played EQ in the past 15 years was the same.

On EQMac some dude got passed over for a really good item because one of the "core" wanted to look cool to in having "matching glowing weapons" when that guy had bags full of weapons all the way up to Plane of Time Phases. He literally would have put that item on to run around with while the other guy would have got probably the best weapon he'd have ever gotten in time.

Core will always win out; and unless you're a-part of it, then you can't be expect to be treated like one of them.

Honestly it was a shit thing to do to you imho; but what can you expect it is Red99 after all, knives are poised at everyone's backs and timely pushed in at the wielders leisure/advantage. They know it, we know it, everyone knows this is how Red99 works.

They are just feeding off you now and you're giving them what they want; you or I, or 95% of the people in Holo don't/didn't mean nothing to em brother; in 2-3-4 months there'll be another person who gets burnt; and rinse repeat this cycle. It's just the honest plain facts of EQRed99 life.

and in 2-3-4 months there will be yet another starry eyed person joining Red99 trying to have a bit of fun and boy I say good luck to him on his journey!
