See my 14 total posts? 13 of those were in exploit forum. This was pretty much the very first thread I've read that doesn't involve a GM helping me with something and likely will be the last. I usually don't spend any time on forums and even less replying to the sad people which spend their days lingering about on them.

Until you all go back to playing on dialup and stop using Vent and TS, perhaps we should all stop using the word Classic as a reference to something that you only want the parts of that you like or see as beneficial for yourself.

The true classic Everquest experience isn't the picture in your head that has been warped by years of nostalgia and the selective memory that everyone has.
Verant didn't even allow compound names or anything that wasn't proper for a high fantasy setting. I know because I had to delete my first toon or have my account banned when I didn't change his name from Bigmidget.

If you really want the Classic EQ experience, then either go all in or find a different angle from which to bitch about it.

I am forced to use dialup and cannot use Vent or TS, and it hasn't stopped me leveling multiple toons to 60 and several more into the 50s. If you can't practice what you preach, you should stop preaching.

I know the people whom most need to take what I said to heart are those least likely to pay attention or care. Which is why even though I am one of the nicest and most helpful and accomodating people you will ever meet in game, I would probably ignore you if I were a GM based solely upon the hypocrisy of what you are asking for and what you actually want.
