And I was simply tired of being treated rudely because I've escaped with my life, when others think I should go down with the ship, as if that's noble or something - like dying unnecessarily actually achieves anything.

It has happened many times over my EQ career, and a few times recently on various characters. Yes - I was slightly annoyed I was once again the target of shittiness that I feel is unwarranted - especially in this case, where as I've said - the level nine (again - Monks do not get FD till 17) monk waded into yet another fight, with only 15% health left, and unlike them I was an untwinked rogue, excepting a very minor AC increase from some bone legplates handed down as a random gift by a high level passer by.

So I sounded off here in the rants section. Only to discover some have a issue with a rant in the rants section, and most can't seem to even read. Believe me - I regret making use of the rants section, now. I should have just sighed, and moved on quietly, once again. I see that now.

Wizardling, I get your frustration. Shitty people doing shitty things and people who exhibit pixel superiority complex. Honestly, this server has a fair amount of that behavior.

In terms of this being the rant and flame forum, yeah I suppose. Genuine rants usually get trolled pretty hard here.

This man (the monk), with no obligation to carrying your pathetic rogue along on his adventures, needed a small amount of help. You lacked the courage to do so and fled, and you now have the audacity to RANT about this in the project 1999 rants and flames forums?

I was going to post the reply below, but upon re-reading your comment above... well, it seems as if it might actually be parody. I don't know. I hope so.

There was absolutely nothing 'calming' about your rant and i found myself triggered several times while reading it. If you can't see how leaving someone to rot in the depths of blackburrow is nothing more than insane privilege then I question your ability to process social interactions in a logical manner. You conveniently waived your duty to your fellow group member (the monk) because you thought he was lesser for using items he attained on another hero
