I was trying to find a port two days ago in OT. Dial a Port Druid who was bound in OT and standing next to me. I asked him if I could buy a port to WC.

His response was "what are you tipping?

"50pp"

"sorry, too little, maybe if i get another passenger"

50p+ is perfectly adequate. I tip 100p generally, but 50p is worth a solo port, a sow, and a sincere thank you. If that's how Dial-A-Port is gonna act, it might be time for a new taxi company to break up the monopoly.

I'm not in the guild, but I do port generally every single person who asks. I don't even require payment; I'm happy to possibly gain a friend for the long haul. But at least show me the decency to answer me after I'm going out of my way to help you. Nothing pisses me off more than when I show up, the guy is already leaving and says 'sorry got one'. That's happened way too often
