GMs should not have chars in raiding guilds to prevent conflicts of interest. Unfortunately this also leads to GMs who don't understand the raiding scene well and are less equipped to deal with the issues that arise. Sirken is definitely a boon in that regard. I haven't dealt with deru much--think he's a red guy / forum mod mostly?

GMs aren't allowed to play on p99 or r99. they have too much power, and it would always be a conflict of interest.

Guides on the other hand are still allowed to play, and as such do not handle raid disputes, among having to follow a list of other guide specific rules.
