Soon, there will be a LFG app, just because they removed /who all lfg shouldnt bother you all, this just skips steps on sending people tells and asking them if they want to join or not, this just skips more steps, ohohoh and add a "waiting list" feature. you can use your phone, put yourself lfg and you can be playing Skyrim touching yourself to your barbies and you can get a little ring saying "Spot available!"

Soon, there will be a <Dial a Service> app, want clarity for your group in mistmoore? theres an app for that! want rezzes for your group because derp or derp or even herp? theres an app for that!

This shit has got to stop someplace.. but the weird thing is, most of you reading my forecoming doom think its cool, but hey, youll just be playing World of Warcraft with a different skin and thats what we all came here for... right?

I mean really, this is how EQLive went. A few "quality of life" enhancements, a little buff here, a little buff there, skip a few steps here and before ya know it itll be Depths of Darkhallow all over again. You may think you are doing good because you put time and effort into this.. but you will hurt the server and possibly require another dev team out there wanting to re-recreate a classic everquest because of this and future projects you or others create because you cant handle classic EQ.

Stupid question (I read the whole thread but didn't see an answer): other than a nicer UI, how is this any different from the (long-existing, fairly heavily used) auction forum?

The problem I see with the auction forum:

• People sometimes don't list prices
• It's hard to search
• People's posts aren't always up to date..sometimes when searching for a specific item you find old posts and the person no longer has the item for sale...
• Can only put some much info in a post title to get people to check out what you're buying/selling
• etc...

EC Tunnel will allow you to keep you wares for WTB/WTS neatly organized and you can search for specific items very quickly unlike the forums here...

Plus as more and more people start using it, I'll be able to gather stats such as average for sale/offered prices, etc...

The big plus is just setting up your lists and having everything neatly organized and searchable while you play some EQ instead of sitting in EC or constantly updating/searching through forum posts..

Sounds like there is nothing different at all. You post a sale on this app and you are out exping, the buyer has to wait or bring thousands of plat to you. People just like making redundant things, kinda like how people buy one physical copy of a game but download it on Steam a year later because "I dont like CDs"
