the answer is Die Antwoord. less than ten years from now pop music will sound similar to them. not as sexually satirical but explicitly of course.

Kind of, I like our state. Did you also vote for Tom Tancredo?

This thread is lol with tweenage girl angst. Lana Del Ray is a garbage song writer, are you fucking kidding? Have you listened to Pepsi Cola, literally the most brain dead song I've ever heard. Her lyrics are the current version of Bright Eye's lyrics. Putting a bunch of multi-syllable words together in an incoherent mess to make dumb people feel deep.

Also lol at "she's so original and sad and emotional and pure" her fucking dad made millions as a domain squatter, and then paid for years of vocal lessons and plastic surgery. Check out her face circa 2004 versus now. Yea, girl is definitely OG and not "main stream pop".

This thread makes me sad for Shannacore's generation. Also sad to share a state with her.
Wow, you have some really strong feelings on this subject. And you sound a bit stuck up. Why should someone's taste in music offend you so much? I'm just about to turn 28 so I'm definitely not an "angsty tween", but you certainly sound like you are nearing you're late 70's there grandpa. Turn it back to the oldies station and take your blood pressure medicine. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I'm two years older than you. So you're saying you're not an angsty tween, you just listen to their music? Want to know my opinions on the Twilight books, or will that cause you to 5150?

Not listening to garbage does not equate to being stuck up. Sorry you listen to shitty music and try to defend that by calling me old.

Also, at 28 you should know which of the three theres should be used. Now you can call me an old English professor and feel justified in fawning over the music of 2012's version of Kesha.

And I just saw you live in West Virginia and felt insecure enough to use a female photo for your avatar. That 5150 quip probably hit a little too close to home, apologies.

I would love to know your opinions on the Twilight books! I'm sure that you're super enlightened and can tell me all about them. Do you have signed copies and posters of Edward on your wall? Or are you more a Team Jacob fan? Thank you for the English lesson, it's always nice to brush up! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

While I am not an English professor, assuming you are referring to this post, I do believe that's the correct form of there:

Quote:
sound like you are nearing you're late 70's there grandpa
Since the 'there' in that sentence is referring to a location instead of a possessive. You are a grandpa in your location, as opposed to being someone's Grandpa.

Examples:

'All of your posts are great in there Grandpa!''

'All of their Grandpa's posts are A+.'

But that is the incorrect form of "You're"; this is a contraction of "you are".

"Your" would be the correct word to use as it refers to a possessive.

Examples:

"You're all great at forum-quest!"

"It's all unicorns and rainbows when I read your posts."
