I am quitting EQ to focus on some real life and some development ventures (including my own open source classic EQ project) for a while. I will likely be back for a real Velious release.

I've sold through most of my alt bullshit and have left my top5 characters geared and ready for Velious. I handed off all my TMO guild holdings to our glorious leader Zagum for safekeeping.

It has been fun being a part of the community here. I will still be lurking around some, but to a much smaller degree. A special shout-out to all pals, whatever your guildtag <3

No - I was only seeking to resolve standing issues here and didn't even have it in my mind to quit yet (I made up my mind 6 days ago). Nilbog already knew I had a previous iteration of this idea that fizzled, so it's not like it was a secret. I am resurrecting this project as a personal hobby to help fill my added free time with the hope that some day it might do some good for the classic EQ community out there. Even if we can't put out what I consider to be an A+ implementation, at the very least we will come up with some cool tools that people can cherrypick (like my encounter tracking system). I am all about custom implementation and it gets me hard to re-invent the wheel.
