I find it funny when people call "all of azrael" toxic. At this point I'm not even really sure who they are referring to? Lite? Powered? Sickpuppy? Oppressor? Who? How quickly people forget the work they did gearing up new players in the resistance.. You think the few months of contesting happened out of no where? No, they did exactly what Heartbrand is currently doing, they brought in a ton of new players and geared them. They were nothing but helpful, sinking hours of their life into exp groups and plane raids. For months azrael did epic fights daily for people. The three mentioned above did this nightly. People from the server blindly accuse azrael of being a selfish, griefing, toxic guild that housed nothing but the lowest eq pvp players in the servers history. In my experience it was one of the most helpful, tight knit, crew of beauties that I've ever gamed with.

The only difference between what lite and co, did a few months back and what heartbrand is doing now, is better advertisement.

In the end, I think my point is simply directed at the Red dawn guild, also at the players who quit just after "Classic" was created: The rep "azreal" has been given in the past few months are what forum members like Elderan and Nizzar have created... Ask yourself how reliable those sources are? Look at the past week of forumquest, you're going to take their word for it? Hell, where do you think all the active azrael went? They're in Red dawn.

I don't know about toxic, but certainly shoddy overall leadership. I didn't dislike the folks in Azrael. I just knew I could lead them better, and that they only did things as a whole or listened when Lite was on. He took on too much alone, and he's far too frenetic and talkative to leave room for anyone else. Sometimes things worked, lots of the time they didn't. He micro managed when his eye should have been on the prize way too often.

But he played the most, and no one was about to listen to someone over Lite. The sloppy Trak kills, the unnecessarily long waiting on easy as fuck Kunark encounters, the cliquey loot system, etc etc, was bad.

Let's be real, the loot systems in Azrael and Nihilum both suck. Red Dawn has the most legit system, but obviously we're not killing anything right now. There's plenty of people in Nihilum who have bitched to me about loot, who would stand to gain 100x more under Red Dawn's loot system than Nihilum's. If these people who hate the way loot is done would finally do something about it, rather than bitch in tells and forum PM's, and leave together, big things would happen. But, everyone is too scared that if they leave they might be fucked in Velious.

Newsflash: You have never burnt a bridge permanently on this server. Rettiwalk is in Nihilum. Process that again. There is never a line you can't cross here, even if they claim there is. This will be especially true in Velious when they will need tons of people, burn out will be incredible, people will quit etc. This is even more true because there is NO NEW CONTENT AFTER VELIOUS. This means that no matter what there will come a time where the content is no longer farmed by the top guild, whoever that might be. It will not be perma cock blocked indefinitely. Shrug, some people can't process that though.

Shrug. All the bullshit against me gets old, the guild bank and all these lies and shit. At the end of the day this is a Video Game. People take this shit so fucking serious. Most of us are here to try to progress our imaginary elf characters. For better or worse, there's only one guild that can get the cool stuff here, and unlike on Live where new content constantly came out so other guilds could flourish by doing older content, on P99 we're stuck in Kunark forever so the top guild just keeps farming it. This makes people frustrated, mad, etc., and prolly makes for a shit play environment. It is what it is, #Red99.
