Yeah, Landmark is just Minecraft if Minecraft had millions of dollars in funding.

Unrelated to EQN besides a few crossover things, like being able to port over shit that you built if it fits EQ's style. This founder pack is just preorder/collector's edition shit for Landmark, none of it will be in EQN though.

No thanks, I already have 3DS Max and Zbrush. I'm not paying $100 to make assets for a game company. If anything they should be paying for the work that they keep. This is nothing but a money grab and if this is how they do alpha/beta for a part that isn't even the real game, I'm going to be steering clear of this pile.

They should've left the "Everquest Next" part out and just called it Landmark. They clearly overestimated our reading comprehension. Now there's all this "hurr durrr dis aint eq wtfff fail" no matter how many times they say "no shit, its a different game from EQN". They done goofed.

I'm aware of what this is. What I said is that if this is how they're handling this part of the game, then eq next can't be too far from the same model.

All I'm curious about is what does this mean? Why are they marketing preorder fluff just like every other game in the history of games?

I don't see what people will really get out of this. The best way to know if EQNext is going to succeed is to sit back, wait patiently and see if it makes its damn release.

The big draw for a lot of people doesn't come from any game content as much as wanting to craft cities, structures, etc and sell them for $$. That in itself is intriguing and should lead to a few legendary architects in the community, motivated by money sadly... but nevertheless they've got the chance to shape the world that everyone will play in.

Really have my doubts about the kerrans. Kerrans are...

The art lead did say they were revisiting kerrans and armor proportions after all the backlash they got.
