Server PVE Wipe?

Clean slate is meaningless without reversal of so many non-classic class nerfs, a fix to non classic ac, and not continuing to let non classic charm duration run rampant.

Don't confuse the act of pointing out how selfish an opinion is with the act of denying the right to have an opinion to a group of people. They're radically different statements.

It can be your opinion that the server should be wiped. Fine. I get that some people don't possess the basic reasoning required to identify how that indiscriminately fucks over those of us who've invested a lot of time into legitimately building a useful character.

I'm reminded of a gem of a passage from a book in the Ender's Game series, where it is stated that voicing something stupid is actually beneficial; to keep quiet is to hold on to your stupidity, to embrace it. Voicing it allows for the opportunity for someone to correct it and show error in one's ways.

So, state your opinion - and rest assured I'll be hanging around to point out again and again how shortsighted, selfish and idiotic you have to be to harbor an opinion like that.

It's not always stupid opinions, people just have a lot of varying experiences and desires.

I haven't lobbied or voted but I wouldn't mind a server wipe so much. Your accomplishments mean nothing to me. I play this game for my enjoyment and I think I could have a lot of fun rerolling a new toon with the rest of the server and might even try to get involved with high level guild stuff if that were to happen.

The best times on this server were definitely within the first few months. Was so much fun playing with ONLY fresh characters, crawling through every doable dungeon just to get every scrap of gear that I could find. For a very short time the server actually felt like classic EQ but with global chat, I am so glad that I got to take part in it.

All you new people should just take solace in the fact that some of us got to experience it, and that we still love our DE masks and manastones.

I am just stating the facts.

If I want'd to be on the pixel wheel, I had since b4 march 2010, cause y'know I played before I registered here.

For some it would be an interesting change to the dynamics of the server.

Both servers had their fair share of 'sploitins too. At launch. They are still irioning out lotsa issues with EMU code and original game stuff (ivandy's???). Some shit was just easier cause classic wasn't implemented. Epic MQ's still need to be looked into. They weren't as easy to attain on live as they are here, due to faction or w/e.

TBH I don't personally want to wipe your guys pixels, but a relaunch when the bugs are ironed out of velious would be baller. From a purely, I like the leveling/competitive aspect. Not the end game time investment perspective.

It's been stated that there won't be a wipe. If you wish to rehash the same question, do a search and look at those threads.
